Atlas® Tire Changer Center Post Adapter Kit #ATEATTC-CPA+LPA
The Atlas ATEATTC-CPA+LPA kit converts compatible rim-clamp tire changers to a center-post-style wheel holding configuration. It includes the adjustable Center Post Adapter and Low Profile Adapter.
The center-post arrangement avoids gripping the wheel with conventional clamping jaws, while the low-profile adapter lowers reverse-mount wheels in relation to the mount/demount head. Atlas states that the system fits almost all wheel-clamp tire changers and can increase the usable wheel-size range of many machines.
