Lubrication Equipment

Professional shop lubrication equipment — oil dispensing reels, grease dispensing systems, fluid meters, fluid transfer pumps, bulk oil tanks, and complete lube bay management systems from Balcrank, Samson, and Graco. Lubrication equipment scales lube bay capacity from single-bay independent shops through high-throughput dealership and fleet maintenance facilities. Alamo Equipment is an authorized dealer with system design support and parts availability nationwide.

Lubrication Equipment FAQs

Fluid handling equipment for shop lube operations — pumps, hose reels, meters, filters and regulators, oil drains, and dispensing components from Balcrank, Graco, Samson, and other brands Alamo carries.

A pump matched to the fluid and volume, a hose reel to keep the hose off the floor, a control handle or meter at the point of dispense, and appropriate air preparation for pneumatic pumps. Oil drains or evacuators handle the waste side.

A spring-rewind or motorized reel retracts the dispensing hose out of the walkway when not in use. Beyond housekeeping, it protects the hose from being run over and damaged, which is the most common cause of hose failure in a lube bay.

Pump ratio determines the fluid pressure generated from a given air pressure, and higher ratios suit heavier fluids and longer hose runs. Grease requires much higher ratios than oil. Match the ratio to both fluid viscosity and the distance to the dispense point. Alamo can specify the ratio for your layout.

It conditions the shop air feeding a pneumatic pump — removing moisture and particulate and setting a consistent pressure. Running an air pump on unregulated, wet shop air shortens its life and gives inconsistent dispensing.

Electronic and mechanical meters should be verified periodically, particularly where dispensed volume is billed to the customer. A drifting meter either gives away fluid or overcharges, and neither is discovered until someone checks.

Yes — Alamo Equipment carries the major lubrication equipment lines and can help specify pumps, reels, meters, and distribution for a bay layout. Provide bay count, fluids handled, and dispense points for a system recommendation.

Smaller components ship parcel; pumps, reels, and tank packages commonly ship freight. Check the shipping method on the specific product page, and for freight items arrange receiving in advance.
