Accessibility

Alamo Equipment Service wants everyone who visits alamoequipment.com to be able to find what they need and place an order, including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control, or a keyboard instead of a mouse.

What we are working toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard most commonly used to judge website accessibility in the United States. We are also reviewing the newer WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria. We are not claiming full compliance today. This page describes where we are.

What we have done

  • Product and collection images carry alternative text so screen readers can describe them.
  • Search fields, forms, and product options have proper labels.
  • Pages declare their language and provide a "skip to content" link.
  • Pages use proper landmarks and headings for screen-reader navigation.
  • Links and buttons have visible keyboard focus.
  • We corrected text contrast and link styling in our site footer and breadcrumbs in October 2026.

Known limitations

  • Some product specification sheets and manuals are PDF files. Not all of them are tagged for screen readers yet. If you need the contents of a PDF, contact us and we will send the information in an accessible format.
  • Some third-party tools on the site, such as review widgets and chat, are built and maintained by other companies. We cannot fully control how they behave with assistive technology.
  • Our checkout is hosted by Shopify. Shopify maintains accessibility for the checkout pages.

If any part of this site prevents you from finding a product, getting a price, or placing an order, please contact us and we will help you complete your order directly and fix the problem.

Please tell us the page address and what happened. We will respond as quickly as we can, and we will follow up once the issue is corrected.
