Lubrication Tank Packages

A packaged bulk fluid storage and dispensing system combining a tank with the pump and dispensing components needed to put it into service, rather than sourcing the tank and equipment separately. Tank capacity and dispensing components should be sized together, not selected separately.

Balcrank tank packages including double-wall oil dispense tank systems in capacities such as 275 gallons, configured for shop bulk fluid storage and dispensing. Packaging the tank with its dispensing equipment reduces the number of separate items to specify and install.

A double-wall tank has an integral outer containment shell, so a leak in the inner tank is captured rather than reaching the floor. It addresses secondary containment requirements without a separate containment pan and generally simplifies compliance.

When a shop uses roughly 50 to 80 gallons per month of a single fluid, the per-gallon savings from bulk delivery over drum delivery typically justify the investment within 18 to 24 months. Below that volume, drums remain economical.

Local fire codes and EPA regulations apply to above-ground petroleum storage above certain thresholds, typically 660 gallons under federal SPCC rules and lower in some states and municipalities. Check with the local fire marshal and EPA spill prevention requirements before installing.
