Site Prep - What Your Bay Needs Before Install Day
The prep list for a lift this size is short but non-negotiable. If any one of them is uncertain, call us first.
Concrete
A lift at 30,000 lbs puts real load into the slab. Concrete thickness, strength, and cure age all have to meet Challenger's published installation requirements. If you are unsure what is under your floor, we can help you find out.
Electrical
Challenger publishes a 3HP, 208v - 230v (single phase standard) motor as standard on the 4030 series, with a 90 - 120 psi air supply required for the lock release. Confirm both against your building before install day.
Air Supply
Air-actuated lock release means shop air has to reach the lift. Plan the drop as part of the install, not as an afterthought.
