A reel that retracts the hose automatically under spring tension when released. It keeps the hose out of the walkway and off the floor, which is both a housekeeping and a hose-life issue since hoses run over by vehicles fail early.

Shop air carries moisture and particulate that damage pneumatic pumps and contaminate dispensed fluid. An auto-drain filter removes it and discharges the collected condensate without someone remembering to drain it manually. Sizing on your actual worst case rather than a typical case is what prevents the equipment being outgrown early.

It sets a consistent air pressure to the pump, which determines fluid output pressure. Without regulation, output varies with shop air pressure fluctuations, giving inconsistent dispensing and unnecessary pump wear.

It mounts the pump to a wall with the associated hose and connection provisions, for systems fed from a bulk tank rather than a drum-mounted pump. It gets the pump off the floor and into a fixed, serviceable position.

Match hose length to the distance from the reel to the furthest dispense point with some slack, and hose diameter to the fluid viscosity and flow required. Oversized hose length adds pressure drop and makes the reel harder to retract.
