Concrete
Per the factory drawing: 3,000 PSI minimum, at least 4 in. thick, reinforced with steel rebar. The anchored steel base sets on a 3/4 in. base plate with 6 concrete anchors provided.
Power
The standard motor is a 115V plug-in on a 120 VAC single-phase power unit — a standard outlet, no electrician required for the stock configuration. A 220V hard-wire motor is an available option.
Ceiling & Layout
Allow for the 118 3/8 in. overall height and 99 1/2 in. overall length. Front-post design puts the post ahead of the bike for end-of-bay or corner placement.

American Custom Lifts SP1500 Motorcycle Parking Lift

A parked motorcycle eats floor space you already need — for the car, the workbench, or the next project. The American Custom Lifts SP1500 parks one bike overhead on a single front post and hands you that floor back, Texas-built with a 1,500 lb (680 kg) capacity. The post sits at the front of the bike, so the lift fits at the end of a garage bay or in a corner where a larger parking lift won’t fit.

It lifts on a chain-over-hydraulic cylinder with heavy-duty leaf chain, with a cable latch release that locks at 19 positions. The platform and ramp are bright aluminum diamond plate, the 16 × 36 in. loading ramp is removable, and there are four tie-down locations. Standard power is a 115V plug-in motor on a 120 VAC single-phase power unit — no hard-wiring needed.

American Custom Lifts can also customize platform size, lifting height, and lifting capacity to meet your requirements at additional cost. Call Alamo at (817) 865-3707 and we’ll configure it with you.

Who the SP1500 Is Built For

  • Home garages and workshops. If the bike on its stand is squeezing out the car or the workbench, the SP1500 parks it overhead on one front post and gives the floor back. Power is a standard 115V plug-in, so it goes in without re-wiring the garage.
  • Collectors and showrooms. A stored bike should be seen, not shoved against a wall. The bright aluminum diamond-plate platform and 19-position cable latch park a display bike at the height you want, on American-made, Texas-built equipment.
  • Tight or awkward bays. The post sits at the front of the bike rather than behind it, so the lift installs at the end of a bay or in a corner where a two-post or four-post lift would never fit. Overall length is only 99 1/2 in.
  • Low-ceiling residential garages. The low post height is designed for typical low-ceiling residential installations. Check your clearance against the 118 3/8 in. overall height — Alamo reviews your ceiling before you order.
  • Multi-use garages. Park the bike up and keep using the floor underneath for a second vehicle, a workbench, or storage. Four tie-down locations keep the bike secure at any of the 19 lock positions.

What the SP1500 Is NOT Built For

  • Loads over 1,500 lb (680 kg) — and per the factory drawing, the capacity is based on the cantilever load evenly distributed over the span, so a single heavy contact point matters.
  • Slabs that don’t meet the print — 3,000 PSI minimum concrete, at least 4 in. thick, reinforced with steel rebar. No exceptions on the anchor spec.
  • Vehicles other than a motorcycle — this is a single-motorcycle parking lift, not a car lift.
  • Low headroom — you need ceiling clearance for the 118 3/8 in. overall height.
