Buying an inground lift sight-unseen on published numbers is already a leap of faith. 

This configuration includes Bench-Mount Controls (BMC), which on Challenger's other current inground families mounts the lift controls inside a workbench (by button or lever) instead of a stand-alone console; Alamo will confirm this is implemented identically on the EH10 before your order ships.

• Shops running a fixed operator station — Bench-Mount Controls puts the console on a wall or workbench instead of the lift body, so a tech running the pit doesn't have to walk back to the lift every time to raise or lower it.
• Shops that need 10,000 lb of inground capacity in a flush-mount footprint — 72" rise height and 87" drive-thru clearance, confirmed across two independent dealer listings, with no above-floor lift body eating into the bay.
• Multi-bay shops standardizing on one control layout — if your other inground lifts already use bench-mounted consoles, matching the EH10-BMC to that layout keeps operator training and workflow consistent across bays.
• Shops open to a below-grade pit install — like every Challenger inground lift, the EH10-BMC requires pit excavation and concrete work; Alamo plans the console wiring run to the bench location as part of that same install.
• Buyers comparing configurations before they order — an on-lift-control version (EH10, no BMC) is also available if a bench-mounted station doesn't fit your bay layout.

What the EH10-BMC Is NOT Built For

• You need capacity above 10,000 lbs -- see the EV1220 or EW12 in the 12,000 lb class.
• You want a surface-mounted lift with no excavation -- every inground Challenger lift, including the EH10, requires a below-grade pit.
