The Challenger CL12A-LC-DPC-QC gives repair shops a 12,000 lb ALI certified 2-post lift in a low-ceiling package. Its 11' 11" column height is built for 12' ceiling shops that need more capacity than a 10K lift without stepping into a taller standard 12K frame.
This is the heavier-duty Challenger choice for shops working on pickups, vans, SUVs, fleet vehicles, and EV-era wider vehicles. Adjustable width settings, 3-stage arms, and premium telescoping footpads help technicians service a broader vehicle mix in one bay.
Low-Ceiling 12K Capability
The CL12A-LC is the low-ceiling version of Challenger's adjustable 12K 2-post family. It keeps the 12,000 lb lifting capacity while using an 11' 11" column height and 12' minimum ceiling requirement, which makes it practical for shops that cannot fit taller overhead models.
Adjustable Width for Wider Vehicles
During installation, the columns can be set at standard width, +6", or +12". That gives the bay more flexibility for trucks, vans, SUVs, and wider electric vehicles, while still keeping clear operating lanes for daily shop work.
3-Stage Front and Rear Arms
With 3-stage front and rear arms and a 27.5" to 59" arm reach range, the CL12A-LC can reach a wide spread of pickup points. That matters in mixed-use shops where the next vehicle may be a light truck, a large SUV, a van, or a standard passenger car.
QuickCycle and Dual Pendant Controls
The DPC/QC configuration pairs dual pendant controls with a listed 38-second rise time. Shops that cycle vehicles all day get easier access from either column and a faster lift cycle than a slower heavy-duty 2-post setup.
