The Challenger 4018XFX is Alamo's answer: an 18,000 lb capacity, ALI Certified four-post lift with the paperwork already in place. Its 24 in wide runways and 220 in max wheelbase accommodate larger commercial vehicles, and the proven cable-drive design with single-point mechanical lock release keeps operation simple and reliable.

ALI Certification means this lift is built and tested to the strictest safety standards in the industry, giving you confidence in a heavy-duty application. An alignment rack upgrade is not available for this model — for wheel alignment work, see the 44018AR.

Who the 4018XFX Is Built For

• Shops that need ALI certification on record — the 4018XFX is independently tested and certified, which matters for insurance, franchise, and fleet-contract compliance the 44018 doesn't carry.
• Shops running vehicles up to a 220" wheelbase — longer than the base 44018's 194" capacity, without moving up to a 30,000 lb heavy-duty deck you don't need.
• Buyers who want a proven single-point lock release — one mechanical release disengages all four column locks together -- simple for a tech to operate correctly every time.
• Shops that may add a 9K rolling jack later — the built-in runway rail system is ready for the optional airline kit and rolling jack package (see the 4018XFX-PKG if you want it bundled from day one).

What the 4018XFX Is NOT Built For

• You need front turntable cutouts for wheel alignment -- this deck configuration doesn't offer that upgrade.
• Your heaviest vehicle exceeds 220" wheelbase -- step up to a 30,000 lb 4-post deck.
• You want the rolling jack and airline kit included out of the box -- that's the 4018XFX-PKG.
• You don't need ALI certification and want to save on the base 44018 instead.
• Your bay is smaller than the 303.375" x 152.125" footprint -- the runway spacing doesn't compress.
