Challenger CL10AV3-3-QC 10,000 lb Versymmetric® 2-Post Lift
Some bays have the ceiling height for a two-post lift but not the column clearance a standard 10K model needs for tall work trucks and vans. The CL10AV3-3-QC is built for exactly that extra headroom.
The CL10AV3-3-QC runs on Challenger's Versymmetric® platform, with directSPOT™ 3-stage front and rear arms so the same lift reaches factory lift points on a sedan one cycle and a full-size pickup the next, without an arm or adapter swap in between. It runs Challenger's standard single-point control layout — simpler to operate, and typically a lower price than a dual-pendant configuration. QuickCycle™ trims real seconds off every rise and lower cycle.
Columns stand 14' 2" / 14' 8" tall on this configuration — plan for a 15'+ ceiling minimum and measure to your lowest overhead obstruction, not the ceiling peak, before you order.
Who the CL10AV3-3-QC Is Built For
- Shops with a 15'+ ceiling that keep running into column-height limits — the CL10AV3-3-QC's 14' 2" / 14' 8" columns give you the overhead clearance a standard-column 10K model can't, without forcing a jump to a 12K or 15K lift you don't need for the capacity.
- Bays that see both passenger cars and trucks in the same shift — Versymmetric® arm geometry spots symmetrically for trucks and vans and asymmetrically for cars, so the tech doesn't reconfigure anything switching between a sedan and a pickup.
- Single-operator shops that don't need dual-station controls — one control point keeps the lift simpler to operate and typically lowers the price versus a DPC configuration, without giving up capacity or arm reach.
- High-volume bays counting minutes per vehicle — QuickCycle™'s faster rise and lower adds up across a full day of 15-20+ vehicle cycles in a way a standard-speed lift can't match.
- Buyers who want one team for sizing, delivery, install, and service — Alamo measures your bay, installs the lift, and stays the call for warranty and service afterward instead of handing you off to a separate installer.
What the CL10AV3-3-QC Is NOT Built For
This is not the right choice when your ceiling can't clear the 14' 2" or 14' 8" columns, your vehicles exceed 10,000 lbs, or your slab hasn't been verified. If you're close on any spec, call Alamo at (817) 865-3707.
What Makes the CL10AV3-3-QC Different
Configuration Highlights
- Versymmetric® directSPOT™ arms - 3-stage front and rear, lift symmetrically or asymmetrically in one bay.
- Controls: Conventional single-point power controls.
- Column height: 3' column extensions raise the columns to 14' 2" or 14' 8" for extra lifted clearance.
- QuickCycle™: faster 27-second rise and 17-second lower to boost bay throughput.
Bay Planning Numbers
The measurements that matter: 14' 2" or 14' 8" column height, 12' 6½" overall width, and 112" drive-through clearance. Check these against doors, lights, air lines, drains, and any overhead obstruction.
Electrical and Install Coordination
The published electrical line is 208-230V, 60Hz, 1Ph, 20A. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and final local requirements before installation day.
- Bays that clear 14' 2" or 14' 8" columns
- Vehicles within 10,000 lbs
- Standard single-operator workflow
- Express bays needing faster cycles
- Ceilings that can't clear 14' 2" or 14' 8"
- Vehicles above the rated capacity
- Unverified slabs or unknown concrete
- Low overhead obstructions not yet measured
