Tuxedo 24G-SE-Drain \u2014 24 Gallon Self-Evacuating Oil Drain

The Tuxedo 24G-SE-Drain is a 24-gallon upright oil drain with pneumatic self-evacuation a genuinely different design from a manual-pump drain. Shop air pressure, controlled through a built-in air pressure gauge and regulator, pushes collected fluid out through a 7 ft evacuation hose without hand-pumping.

A 17 in diameter plastic funnel with a built-in contamination screen catches fluid on the way in, and the funnel height adjusts from 50 in to 73 in for different vehicle clearances. The steel reservoir tank includes a fill sight tube so you can monitor fluid level, and a durable powder-coat finish stands up to shop use better than a bare poly tank in high-traffic bays.

A storage tray keeps the drain plug, filter, and gasket together during the oil change, and it rolls on two swivel casters plus two fixed wheels for stable positioning during pneumatic evacuation.

Who It's Built For

  • Higher-volume service bays wanting faster, hands-free pneumatic evacuation
  • Shops with existing shop air already run to the bay
  • Techs who want a built-in storage tray for the drain plug, filter, and gasket

What It's NOT Built For

  • Shops without a compressed air line \u2014 see the manual-pump 18G-Drain instead
  • Lower-volume bays that don't need the extra 6-gallon capacity over the 18G-Drain

Questions about fit or capacity? Call Alamo at (817) 865-3707.

What Makes the 24G-SE-Drain Different

Pneumatic Self-Evacuation No Hand Pumping

Shop air pressure pushes fluid out through the 7 ft hose, controlled by a built-in air pressure gauge and regulator faster than manually pumping a drain empty between jobs.

Steel Reservoir with Fill Sight Tube

The steel tank holds up to shop wear better than a poly tank, and the sight tube still lets you check fluid level without opening the reservoir.

24-Gallon Capacity, 6 Gallons More Than the 18G-Drain

More capacity between evacuations for higher-volume service bays.

Built-In Storage Tray

Keeps the drain plug, filter, and gasket together during the job, a feature the 18G-Drain doesn't include.

Best For

  • Shops with shop air wanting faster, hands-free evacuation
  • Higher-volume bays needing more capacity between empties

Not Ideal For

  • Shops without a compressed air line the 18G-Drain's manual pump needs no air connection

24G-SE-Drain vs. 18G-Drain Pneumatic or Manual Evacuation?

These are genuinely different designs, not just a capacity difference.

Decision Point 24G-SE-Drain (this product) 18G-Drain
Fluid capacity 24 gallons 18 gallons
Evacuation method Pneumatic self-evacuation (air gauge/regulator) Manual hand pump
Reservoir material Steel, with fill sight tube Translucent polyethylene

Choose the 24G-SE-Drain if you have shop air and want faster, hands-free evacuation with more capacity. Choose the 18G-Drain if you don't need pneumatic evacuation. Call (817) 865-3707 if you're not sure which fits your shop.

Tuxedo Distributors, LLC publishes a Limited Warranty (5-year structural / 1-year parts) for its Lifts and Wheel Service equipment. ❓ Frequently Asked Questions — 24G-SE-Drain

Does the 24G-SE-Drain price include shipping?

Yes. The advertised price includes standard freight delivery within the 48 contiguous United States. Additional freight charges apply for Alaska and Hawaii.

What's the difference between the 24G-SE-Drain and 18G-Drain?

The 24G-SE-Drain uses pneumatic (air-powered) self-evacuation, holds 24 gallons in a steel reservoir, and has a longer 7 ft evacuation hose. The 18G-Drain uses a manual hand pump for evacuation and holds 18 gallons in a translucent poly reservoir.

Does the 24G-SE-Drain need shop air?

Yes — pneumatic self-evacuation requires a compressed air connection. If you don't have shop air, the 18G-Drain's manual hand pump doesn't need it.

Is there a published warranty for the 24G-SE-Drain?

Tuxedo's published Limited Warranty document covers Lifts and Wheel Service equipment specifically; Alamo did not find a separate warranty document naming oil drains, so no warranty term is claimed here. Call (817) 865-3707 with warranty questions before you order.
