The FS-Curtis RES150-1-FP Refrigerated Energy Saving Air Dryer #RES150-1-FP is an advanced compressed air dryer designed to deliver clean, dry air while reducing energy use in compressed air systems rated up to 150 CFM. This energy saving dryer uses a high-efficiency thermal mass heat exchanger to store and release cooling energy, lowering refrigeration compressor run time and reducing operating cost. Built for dependable moisture removal and stable pressure dew point performance, the RES150-1-FP helps protect tools, equipment, and downstream processes from water damage and corrosion. Its durable construction and efficient design make it ideal for automotive shops, manufacturing facilities, maintenance areas, and commercial compressed air systems.
RES Series dryers are designed with 4-in-1 heat exchangers (patent pending) and a phase change material (PCM) encapsulated between the refrigeration and compressed air circuits, serving as a highly effective reservoir for thermal storage. The PCM possesses high latent heat properties which enables it to melt or freeze at a constant temperature. The phase change material will absorb heat from warm, moisture-laden compressed air without a significant rise in temperature. The phase change material stays colder for longer periods of time, cycling the refrigerant compressor less often than conventional energy-saving designs.
