Lift Tables

A lift table raises heavy components and assemblies to working height — EV battery packs, transmissions, drivetrain assemblies, and equipment too heavy to handle manually. It is a materials handling tool rather than a vehicle lift.

Lift tables from APlusLift, Atlas, Challenger, and iDEAL, including EV battery lifting tables in the 2,500 to 3,300 lb range and scissor lift tables, in electric, hydraulic, and air-hydraulic configurations.

EV battery packs are heavy, physically large, and must be lowered and raised in a controlled level manner to avoid damaging the pack or its mounting. A general-purpose jack does not provide the platform area or the controlled level movement the job requires.

Pack weights vary significantly by vehicle. Confirm the pack weights for the platforms you service and select a table rated above the heaviest with margin. Do not size on an average — size on the heaviest pack you expect to handle. Alamo can help match a table to your EV service population.

Not as a rule. Lift tables are rated for loads placed on the platform, not for lifting a vehicle by its frame or wheels. Use a rated vehicle lift for vehicle work.

The collection includes electric, DC battery-powered, and air-hydraulic models. Battery-powered units avoid trailing cords, which suits work under a raised vehicle. Confirm the power requirement on the specific model.

Mechanical load-holding provisions, controls that hold position without operator input, and overload protection. For EV work, also confirm the table's platform size and securement provisions suit the packs you handle. EV battery packs add weight and handling considerations beyond a standard component lift.
