UltraTech Spill Containment

UltraTech produces spill containment and environmental compliance products including containment sumps for drums and totes, containment berms, and related shop safety products such as cable protection systems.

It holds drums or totes above a captured volume, so any leak drains into the sump rather than onto the floor or into a drain. Sump models are sized to specific container counts and volumes, such as 275 and 550 gallon tote applications.

A commonly applied standard is containment rated for 110 percent of the largest single container stored on it, but the governing requirement depends on your jurisdiction and the material. Confirm what applies to your facility before selecting.

It depends on quantity, material, and local requirements. Federal SPCC rules apply above certain aggregate storage thresholds, and local fire codes may apply at lower thresholds. Check with the local fire marshal and applicable EPA requirements.

Material compatibility matters. Products are generally rated for particular chemical classes, and aggressive chemicals may require a specific material. Confirm compatibility with what you actually store rather than assuming general-purpose suitability.
