Atlas 412 — 12,000 lb Heavy-Duty 4-Post Service Lift

A four-post that can't take a beating isn't a service bay, it's an expensive shelf. The Atlas 412 is the heavy-duty service configuration of Atlas's 12,000 lb four-post platform: diamond-plated runways, an air-operated single-point lock release, a lock-ladder design with a double-lock safety system, and no alignment fixtures you'd be paying for and never using.

With 77 3/4 inches of rise and 70 1/4 inches of clearance under the runways, one bay gives a tech full underbody access on three-quarter and one-ton trucks — wheel service, brakes, exhaust, lube — without a second lift in the middle of the work.

Who the Atlas 412 Is Built For

• Heavy-truck general-service shops that never do alignment work — the 412 is the same 12,000 lb platform as the 412A minus the turntables and slip plates, which is money not spent on fixtures the shop won't use.
• Lube, tire, and brake bays servicing 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickups and work vans — 12,000 lbs of capacity with drive-on convenience and 70 1/4" of standing clearance underneath.
• Fleet bays with long-wheelbase vehicles — up to 185" maximum wheelbase and a 194 1/2" runway that swallows extended-cab and crew-cab trucks whole.
• Shops that want wheel service on the same lift — the runways carry tracks that accept the Atlas RJ6BK rolling bridge jack (sold separately), turning one bay into a two-service bay.
• Bays already verified for the install: 6" of 3,000 psi concrete, 220V single-phase on a 30 amp breaker, and 85–115 PSI shop air — the 412 uses all three, so none can be a surprise.

What the Atlas 412 Is NOT Built For

This is not the lift for alignment work — no turntables, no slip plates; that work belongs to the 412A. It is also not for aircraft, anything over 12,000 lbs, or a low ceiling: at full rise the runway tops out at 77 3/4", and the vehicle on top of it needs whatever headroom it came with.

Important sizing note: measure bay width (135 1/4" with motor), ceiling against the 89 3/4" columns plus vehicle height at full rise, and confirm wheelbase (185" max) and loaded weight before purchase.
