Atlas 412A — 12,000 lb 4-Post Alignment Lift
An alignment lift that only does alignment is half a lift. The Atlas 412A is the 12,000 lb four-post platform with the alignment package built in — slip plates and alignment turntables with multiple mounting positions, and runway covers that turn the same bay back into a general-service lift the moment the turntables come out.
Rated at 12,000 lbs with 77 3/4 inches of rise and 70 1/4 inches of clearance beneath the runways, it handles three-quarter and one-ton trucks for alignment in the morning and brakes in the afternoon — same bay, same lift.
Who the Atlas 412A Is Built For
- Alignment shops moving up from a scissor lift or smaller four-post — 12,000 lbs and a 185" maximum wheelbase cover the full light-truck range most shops see.
- General-service shops adding alignment revenue — the built-in turntables and slip plates mean no second lift purchase to open a new service line.
- Bays that flip between alignment and general service — runway covers (included) close off the turntable cutouts, so the same lift does brakes, exhaust, and lube work without a fixture in the way.
- Shops servicing long-wheelbase trucks — 194 1/2" runways and a 185" max wheelbase hold extended-cab and crew-cab pickups level on the turntables.
- Shops already plumbed for the install — 6" 3,000 psi concrete, 220V single-phase 30A, and 85–115 PSI air — so the 412A drops into a bay that's ready for it.
What the Atlas 412A Is NOT Built For
This is not the lift for shops that never align vehicles — without alignment work in the plan, the 412 (same platform, no fixtures) is the cheaper honest choice. It's also not for anything over 12,000 lbs, and low ceilings kill it: the runway tops out at 77 3/4" and the vehicle still needs its own headroom.
Important sizing note: measure bay width (135 1/4" with motor), ceiling against the 89 3/4" columns plus vehicle height at full rise, and confirm wheelbase (185" max) and loaded weight before purchase.
What Makes the Atlas 412A Different
Alignment fixtures built in, not bolted on
Slip plates and alignment turntables ship with the lift, with multiple turntable positions to match the vehicles you actually align.
- Built-in slip plates
- Alignment turntables included
- Multiple turntable positions
- Runway covers included for service work
Air-operated single-point lock release
One control releases both locks — 85–115 PSI external air, no column-to-column walk on every cycle.
Grows with the shop
Runway tracks accept the Atlas RJ6BK or RJ6BKAH rolling bridge jack (sold separately) for wheel service, and a runway extension kit is available to add runway length.
Best For
- Alignment + general service in one bay
- 3/4–1 ton trucks
- Shops adding alignment revenue
- Flip between turntables and covered runways
Not Ideal For
- Pure service shops (buy the 412)
- Vehicles over 12,000 lbs
- Low-ceiling bays
