Atlas 414A — 14,000 lb 4-Post Alignment Lift

When the alignment bay starts seeing one-ton and light-medium commercial trucks, a 12K lift is the wrong tool in the right room. The Atlas 414A is the 14,000 lb four-post alignment lift: built-in slip plates, alignment turntables in multiple positions, 208 5/8 inches of runway, and a 197-inch maximum wheelbase that holds the long trucks level on the turntables.

With 80 inches of rise and 71 1/4 inches of clearance under the runways, the same bay that aligns a 1-ton in the morning can stand under it for brake work in the afternoon — runway covers (included) close the turntable cutouts when the alignment day is done.

Who the Atlas 414A Is Built For

  • Alignment shops whose fleet mix has grown past 12,000 lbs — 1-ton duallys, service bodies, and light-medium commercial trucks all sit on this lift at rating.
  • Bays that align long-wheelbase trucks — a 197" maximum wheelbase and 208 5/8" of runway hold crew-cab long beds and box trucks level on the turntables.
  • Shops flipping between alignment and general service — slip plates and turntables ship built in, and the included runway covers hand the bay back to brakes and lube work.
  • Fleet and municipal shops servicing work trucks — 14,000 lbs of capacity means loaded service bodies stop being a math problem.
  • Bays already plumbed for a lift this size — 6" 3,000 psi concrete, 220V single-phase 30A, and 85–115 PSI air — the 414A uses all three.

What the Atlas 414A Is NOT Built For

This is not the lift for passenger-car-only alignment shops — the 412A does the same work at 12,000 lbs for less footprint, and the PVL14 adds Platinum-line construction and ALI certification. It's also not for anything over 14,000 lbs, and low ceilings are a hard stop: 91 1/8" columns plus a vehicle at 80" of rise needs real headroom.

Important sizing note: measure bay width (138 7/8" with motor), ceiling against the 91 1/8" columns plus vehicle height at full rise, and confirm wheelbase (197" max) and loaded weight before purchase.

What Makes the Atlas 414A Different

Alignment package built for big trucks

Slip plates and turntables in multiple positions, sized for 1-ton and light-commercial wheelbases — with runway covers included for service-only days.

  • Built-in slip plates
  • Alignment turntables, multiple positions
  • Runway covers included

Heavy-duty frame, drive-on convenience

8 3/4" thick runways, 71 1/4" of under-runway clearance, and a double-lock safety system on a lock-ladder design — the structure is what makes 14,000 lbs routine.

Room to grow

Runway tracks accept the Atlas RJ8000BK rolling bridge jack (sold separately) for wheel service on the same lift.

Best For

  • Alignment + service to 14,000 lbs
  • 1-ton and light-medium commercial trucks
  • Long-wheelbase fleets
  • RJ8000BK bridge jack compatibility

Not Ideal For

  • Passenger-car-only shops (412A is smaller)
  • Vehicles over 14,000 lbs
  • Low-ceiling bays
