Challenger E15 — 15,000 lbs 2-Post Lift

There's a category of vehicle that a 12K lift can lift — legally, on paper — but shouldn't be lifting routinely. Fully loaded F-350s, Ram 3500 dually pickups, Transit-350 cargo vans, and medium-duty fleet vehicles often come in at 12,000 to 14,000 lbs in service condition. Putting that load on a 12K lift every day isn't just running at capacity — it's running at the edge of it. The Challenger E15 is the 15,000 lb answer: a heavy-duty 2-stage arm clearfloor lift for shops that service vehicles where 12K doesn't leave enough margin.

The E15 is ALI/ETL certified at 15,000 lbs, installs in two column height configurations (14' 6" or 16' 6"), and reaches 36.5" to 55" with its 2-stage front and rear arms — covering the lift point range across heavy pickups, vans, and commercial equipment. For dealerships, fleet service centers, and general shops that run heavy trucks through the same bays as passenger vehicles, the E15 gives those heavier vehicles the lift they're supposed to be on.

Who the E15 Is Built For

  • The truck-heavy shop that's been using a 12K lift at its rated limit on F-350s and Ram 3500s — the E15 gives those vehicles 3,000 lbs of margin back and takes the risk off the lift
  • Commercial fleet operators servicing Transit-350s, Sprinter 2500s, and medium-duty delivery trucks that exceed 12K GVWR in service condition
  • Dealerships that run a dedicated heavy-duty bay and want 2-post simplicity — easier approach, faster rotation, no runway setup like a 4-post
  • Repair centers that need ALI/ETL documentation at the 15K level for insurance, OSHA compliance, or franchise/dealership standards
  • Mixed service bays that handle both passenger cars and heavy work trucks — the E15's 2-stage arms cover the lift point range from sedans to dually pickups without a complete arm reconfiguration

What the E15 Is NOT Built For

  • ❌ Shops that primarily service passenger cars and light SUVs — the E15 requires 14' 7" to 16' 7" ceiling clearance and is sized for heavy-duty use
  • ❌ Low-ceiling bays under 14' 7" — no configuration of the E15 fits below that threshold
  • ❌ Operations where 10,000 lb or 12,000 lb capacity covers the full vehicle mix — the SA10 or CL12A series are the right choices at lower price points

What Makes the E15 Different

15,000 lb Capacity — For the Vehicles That Outgrow 12K

The E15 is built for shops where the vehicle mix has grown beyond what a 12K lift should handle. At 15,000 lb capacity, it covers heavy-duty pickups (F-350, Ram 3500, Silverado HD), full-size commercial vans, and fleet vehicles that routinely exceed 12,000 lbs in service condition. Running a heavier vehicle on a 12K lift creates a load margin problem; the E15 eliminates it by giving 3,000 lbs back.

2-Stage Front & Rear Arms — 36.5" to 55" Reach

Heavy-duty 2-stage front and rear arms reach from 36.5" to 55" — covering the range of lift point positions on commercial vans, heavy pickups, and long-wheelbase trucks where standard-reach arms fall short. The arm reach is tuned for heavier vehicles whose lift points sit further out from the column centerline. Symmetric loading keeps the vehicle balanced between the columns throughout the lift cycle.

Two Column Height Configurations

The E15 installs at 14' 6" or 16' 6" overall — two height configurations based on your bay's ceiling clearance and the tallest vehicles you need to service. The shorter configuration suits bays with standard commercial ceilings and most truck service. The taller configuration adds working headroom for vehicles with higher ground clearance or when accessing upper-chassis components requires more room above the vehicle.

ALI/ETL Certified for Heavy-Duty Commercial Service

The E15 carries ALI/ETL certification at the 15,000 lb level — independently verified against ANSI/ALI ALCTV safety standards. For commercial shops, fleet operations, and dealerships where lift certification is a compliance requirement or insurance mandate, the E15 provides that documentation on Challenger's heavy-duty platform. Challenger's manufacturer specs table lists ALI/ETL Certified = Yes explicitly.

Clearfloor 2-Post Format for Fast Vehicle Rotation

The E15 is a clearfloor 2-post — no runway, no ramp, no floor obstruction between the columns. Vehicles drive straight in, position under the arms, and lift in a single motion. In a commercial shop running heavy trucks all day, the clearfloor format means faster vehicle entry and exit per cycle compared to a 4-post with runways. Alamo installs the E15 and keeps it running — call (844) 480-6059 to get started.

✅ Best For
  • ✅ Shops that regularly service work trucks, commercial vans, dually pickups, and fleet vehicles where 10K and 12K lifts run out of margin
  • ✅ Commercial repair bays where the vehicle mix includes heavy-duty pickups (F-350, Ram 3500) and larger vans that legally exceed 12,000 lbs GVWR
  • ✅ Fleet service centers that need documented ALI/ETL certification for compliance or insurance requirements at the 15K capacity level
  • ✅ Dealerships or high-volume shops with a dedicated bay for heavy-duty vehicles that need 15,000 lb capacity without moving to a 4-post or mobile column
  • ✅ Shops that service both passenger vehicles and medium-duty commercial equipment in the same 2-post bay format
❌ Not Ideal For
  • ❌ Shops that primarily service passenger cars and light SUVs — the E15 requires 14' 7" to 16' 7" ceiling clearance and is sized for heavy-duty use

Frequently Asked Questions — Challenger E15

Is the Challenger E15 ALI/ETL certified?

Yes — the E15 is ALI/ETL certified. Challenger's manufacturer website explicitly lists ALI/ETL Certified = Yes in the E15 specifications table. ALI/ETL certification means this lift has been independently tested to meet ANSI/ALI ALCTV safety standards. For shops where certification is a compliance requirement, the E15 delivers it at the 15,000 lb capacity level.

What ceiling height does the Challenger E15 require?

The E15 has two column height configurations — 14' 6" overall (requires 14' 7" minimum ceiling) and 16' 6" overall (requires 16' 7" minimum ceiling). The shorter configuration suits bays with standard commercial ceiling heights; the taller configuration gives more working headroom for elevated vehicles. Call Alamo at (844) 480-6059 to confirm which configuration fits your bay before ordering.

What vehicles can the Challenger E15 lift?

The E15 is rated at 15,000 lbs — covering heavy-duty pickups (F-350, Ram 3500, Silverado HD), full-size commercial vans (Transit-350, Sprinter 2500/3500), medium-duty fleet vehicles, and work trucks that exceed 12K GVWR in service condition. If the vehicles in your bay are consistently approaching 12,000 lbs, the E15 is the correct step-up.

How does the E15 compare to a 4-post lift for heavy service?

The E15 gives you 15,000 lb 2-post clearfloor access — faster vehicle approach, no ramp, no runway alignment. A 4-post is better for open-wheel alignment or flat-bed storage. If your primary need is underbody access on heavy trucks, the 2-post E15 is faster to load and unload per cycle. Call (844) 480-6059 and we'll walk through which configuration fits your service mix.
