Installation is straightforward when these items are handled in advance. If any one of them is uncertain, call us first.
Concrete
A lift at 40,000 lbs puts real load into the slab. Concrete thickness, strength, and cure age all have to meet Challenger's published installation requirements. If you are unsure what is under your floor, we can help you find out.
Electrical
This model is specified with a 10HP, 230-460v three phase drawing 28 - 14 amps. Three-phase requirements in particular should be verified with your electrician before the lift arrives.
Air Supply
Air-actuated lock release means shop air has to reach the lift. Plan the drop as part of the install, not as an afterthought.
