Atlas® TTC306 Deluxe Automated Truck Tire Changer 3-Phase

Commercial fleet and OTR wheels that run up to 46" (56" with extensions) simply won't fit on standard truck tire equipment — and manually wrestling a wheel that heavy into position is both slow and a safety risk. The Atlas® TTC306 removes both problems with fully automatic tool positioning and 13,173 lb. of clamping power, built specifically for high-volume commercial shops running the largest fleet and off-road wheels.

Unlike the TTC305A, which runs on standard 1-phase power for a 13"–26" range, the TTC306 requires 3-phase electrical service but delivers roughly double the clamping range and more than double the clamping force — the tradeoff a high-volume commercial shop makes to reach 98" max tire diameters the 305A simply can't service.

Who the TTC306 Is Built For

  • A commercial fleet service center with 3-phase power already installed that's been turning away OTR and oversized truck tires because their current changer tops out well below 46".
  • A high-volume shop where manual wheel positioning on heavy truck tires is slowing down technicians and creating safety concerns — the TTC306's fully automatic tool positioning removes that manual step.
  • An operation servicing wheel-and-tire assemblies up to 3,968 lbs. that needs 13,173 lb. of clamping power to hold them securely centered through the full mount/demount cycle.
  • A shop that regularly sees tire diameters approaching 98" (8'2") and needs a single-piece frame with solid floor plate built for continuous heavy-duty use, not occasional service.
  • An owner with existing 3-phase electrical infrastructure who wants to maximize throughput with a 3 HP hydraulic motor and separate 3.5–4 HP chuck motor running simultaneously.
  • A shop expanding into OTR or large agricultural tire service that needs the 14"–46" (56" with extensions) rim clamping range to cover nearly any commercial fleet wheel that comes in.

What the TTC306 Is NOT Built For

Shops without 3-phase electrical service or that don't need to service wheels beyond 26" should look at the Atlas TTC305A — it runs on 1-phase power for smaller commercial and light-truck wheel work.

What Makes the TTC306 Different

Fully Automatic Tool Positioning

Bead tool, carriage, and chuck arm all position themselves automatically, cutting cycle time on the largest commercial truck and OTR wheel assemblies.

14"–56" Rim Clamping Range

One of the widest clamping ranges in Alamo's truck tire changer lineup, with extensions reaching a 56" max — covers nearly any commercial fleet wheel.

13,173 lb. Clamping Power

Massive holding force keeps the heaviest wheel-and-tire assemblies (up to 3,968 lbs.) secure and centered during service.

3-Phase Dual-Motor System

Separate 3 HP hydraulic motor and 3.5–4 HP chuck motor deliver serious power for high-volume commercial tire shops running 3-phase service.

Single-Piece Frame with Solid Floor Plate

Reinforced construction built for continuous heavy-duty commercial use, not an occasional-use machine.

✅ Best For
  • Commercial fleets with existing 3-phase power
  • Shops needing OTR wheels up to 98" diameter
⚠️ Not Ideal For
  • Shops without 3-phase electrical service
  • Bays only servicing wheels 26" or smaller
