Challenger 6,000 lb Portable Mid-Rise Lift, 54" Rise Height
A shop's floor space has to do double duty — brake jobs one hour, tire changes the next, a detail bay the hour after that. A fixed-installation lift claims that square footage permanently, whether it's in use or not. When the job doesn't justify a dedicated bay, the equipment shouldn't demand one. That's the problem the Challenger MR6 solves.
The MR6 is a 6,000 lb mid-rise lift mounted on a heavy-duty tow dolly instead of bolted to a fixed location. It reaches 52.75" of rise — taller than the SRM10 short-rise lift's 22" ceiling — while remaining fully portable, indoors or out. That combination is what sets it apart from both a fixed mid-rise installation and the shorter SRM10: the MR6 gives more working height than a short-rise lift, without requiring the shop to commit a permanent bay footprint the way a fixed installation would.
Who the MR6 Is Built For
- A shop that needs mid-rise working height for brake, tire, or suspension jobs but can't dedicate a permanent bay to a fixed-installation lift.
- A mobile or multi-location service operation that tows the MR6 between job sites rather than leaving it fixed at one shop.
- A shop with floor space that has to serve multiple functions — brakes in the morning, detailing in the afternoon — where a lift needs to roll out of the way between jobs.
- An operation that wants taller working height (52.75" rise) than a short-rise lift provides, without the footprint commitment of a fixed mid-rise installation.
- A shop that services a range of vehicle heights and wants the included short and tall auxiliary adapters rather than sourcing pickup-point adapters separately.
- A facility that needs six distinct safety lock positions to match working height precisely to each job, from a quick brake inspection to more involved suspension work.
What the MR6 Is NOT Built For
At 6,000 lbs of capacity, the MR6 is sized for passenger cars and light-duty vehicles — it's not the right tool for heavier commercial trucks or buses; for that range, a CLHM-140 mobile column set is built for that weight class. And if your job is quick brake/tire work in a fixed bay where portability isn't a priority, the SRM10 short-rise lift offers a higher 10,000 lb rating in a stationary, compact footprint.
What Makes the MR6 Different
Tow-Dolly Mounted
The MR6's motor mounts on a heavy-duty tow dolly, so the whole unit rolls to wherever the job is — indoors, outdoors, or between locations — instead of committing a fixed bay to it. That's the core design decision behind the MR6 and the reason it exists as a separate product from a bolted-down mid-rise lift.
Save Shop Space Between Jobs
When it's not lifting, the MR6 rolls out of the way. In a shop where the same floor space has to handle brakes, tires, and detailing on different jobs throughout the day, that flexibility means the lift doesn't permanently claim square footage the shop needs for other work.
6 Safety Lock Positions
Six lock positions give finer control over working height than a single fixed setting would. A tech can match the position to the specific job — lower for a quick brake inspection, higher for more involved suspension work — instead of working every job at one compromise height.
Short and Tall Auxiliary Adapters Included
Both short and tall auxiliary adapters ship standard with the MR6, extending pickup-point reach across a wider range of vehicle heights. A shop servicing everything from low sedans to taller SUVs gets the adapters it needs without a separate purchase.
Powder-Coated Finish
Because the MR6 moves between locations and sees varied conditions — indoor bays, outdoor lots, different weather exposure — the powder-coated finish is built to hold up under that variability rather than the more controlled environment a fixed-installation lift typically sees.

- Shops needing 6,000 lbs certified alignment capacity
- Facilities with at least 10' x 22' of bay space
