Atlas 412A-KIT — 12,000 lb 4-Post Alignment Lift (Complete Alignment Configuration)

Ordering an alignment bay one piece at a time is how shops end up with a lift that can't align yet and turntables on backorder. The Atlas 412A-KIT closes that hole: it is the complete alignment configuration of the Atlas 412A — the 12,000 lb four-post platform delivered with its full alignment package (built-in slip plates, alignment turntables in multiple mounting positions, and the runway covers that flip the bay back to general service) in a single order.

The 412A-KIT designation is the manufacturer's name for the complete kit configuration of the 412A — the specs, warranty, and manual below are the 412A's, because it is the 412A. If you're comparing it against anything, compare it against the 412 (service-only) and the 414A (the 14K version).

Who the Atlas 412A-KIT Is Built For

  • Alignment shops that want the whole package in one order — lift, turntables, slip plates, and covers, with nothing left to figure out at install time.
  • General-service shops opening an alignment line — the complete configuration arrives ready to align from day one, no separate fixture purchase.
  • Bays that flip between alignment and general service — the included runway covers close the turntable cutouts and hand the bay back to brakes and lube work.
  • Shops servicing light trucks up to 12,000 lbs and a 185" maximum wheelbase — the crew-cab pickups that dominate most fleets sit level on the turntables.
  • Bays already verified for 6" 3,000 psi concrete, 220V single-phase 30A, and 85–115 PSI air — the same requirements as every 12K Atlas four-post.

What the Atlas 412A-KIT Is NOT Built For

This is not a different lift from the 412A — it's the complete configuration of it, and we present it that way. It's also not for shops that never align (the 412 saves that money), anything over 12,000 lbs, or low ceilings that can't take a 77 3/4" runway rise plus vehicle.

Important sizing note: measure bay width (135 1/4" with motor), ceiling against the 89 3/4" columns plus vehicle height at full rise, and confirm wheelbase (185" max) and loaded weight before purchase.

What Makes the Atlas 412A-KIT Different

Everything the alignment bay needs, in the box

The complete configuration ships with slip plates, alignment turntables in multiple positions, and runway covers — unbox it into an alignment bay, not a project.

  • Built-in slip plates
  • Alignment turntables, multiple positions
  • Runway covers for service work

Air-operated single-point lock release

One control, both locks — 85–115 PSI external air, and the alignment tech isn't walking columns between readings.

Room to grow

Runway tracks accept the Atlas RJ6BK / RJ6BKAH rolling bridge jack (sold separately), and the 412-family runway extension kit adds runway length when the fleet gets longer.

Best For

  • One-order alignment bay setup
  • Alignment + service in the same lift
  • 3/4–1 ton trucks

Not Ideal For

  • Shops that never align (the 412 is cheaper)
  • Vehicles over 12,000 lbs
  • Low-ceiling bays
