Atlas PX16A — 16,000 lb Scissor Alignment Lift

A four-post alignment lift solves the alignment problem by eating the bay — 11-plus feet of column and runway whether the truck on it is a half-ton or a box truck. The Atlas PX16A is the narrow answer: a 16,000 lb stationary scissor alignment lift that stands 94 inches wide, rises to 71 1/2 inches, and four-wheel-aligns wheelbases from 96 to 184 inches on extra-long slip plates.

The turntables ship recessed and included, the runway rail takes an optional Atlas RJ8000BK rolling jack for wheel service, and the platform handles everything from passenger cars up to heavy-duty long-wheelbase trucks and vans. Freight prepaid on this part number.

Who the Atlas PX16A Is Built For

• Alignment bays where width is the constraint — at 94" overall, the PX16A fits where a four-post alignment platform (typically 11'+ of columns) simply doesn't.
• Shops aligning a wide vehicle mix — passenger cars through heavy-duty long-wheelbase trucks and vans, on a 16,000 lb rated platform with a 96"–184" wheelbase range.
• Low-ceiling alignment bays — the deck tops out at 71 1/2" above the floor, so shops that can't take a 4-post's column height can still run a real alignment line.
• Bays that want wheel service on the same platform — the runway jack rail accepts the Atlas RJ8000BK rolling bridge jack (optional), turning the alignment bay into a service bay between alignments.
• Shops already plumbed for it — 220V single-phase on a 30 amp breaker and 85–120 PSI external air for the mechanical safety locks.

What the Atlas PX16A Is NOT Built For

This is not a portable lift — the PX16A is a stationary, floor-mount/recessed-application platform, so a bay that needs the floor back should look at the 6MR mid-rise instead. It's also not for shops without compressed air (the safety locks are air-operated and require an exterior supply), not for anything over 16,000 lbs, and not for drive-on storage use.

Important sizing note: measure bay width (94"), ceiling against the 71 1/2" maximum rise plus vehicle, and confirm wheelbase (96"–184" alignment range) and loaded weight before purchase.
