Atlas® PX16A Scissor Lift & RJ8 Alignment Combo #ATEATPK-PX16ACF-COMBO-FPD
A 12,000 lb alignment setup runs out of headroom fast once your vehicle mix includes full-size trucks and fleet vehicles — and running a lift or jack near its rated limit on every heavier vehicle isn't where a shop wants to operate. The Atlas PX16A Combo is built for that step up: a 16,000 lb "Wheels Free" scissor alignment lift paired with two 8,000 lb RJ8000 rolling jacks, giving real capacity margin for heavier alignment work.
The combo runs on 220V single-phase power for the lift and shop air for the pneumatic lock release and both air-over-hydraulic jacks (external air supply required, not included). Built-in slip plates, turntables, turntable covers, and a truck adapter set for each jack all ship standard.
Who the PX16A Combo Is Built For
- The heavy-duty shop that's outgrown a 12,000 lb alignment setup because their truck and fleet vehicle mix is pushing past that lift's rated capacity on a regular basis
- The shop that needs 8,000 lb per-corner jack capacity because their RJ-6-class jacks are maxed out on heavier trucks during 4-wheel alignment work
- The fleet-service shop standardizing on one heavy-duty alignment bay so techs aren't switching between lighter- and heavier-duty combos depending on the vehicle
- The shop with compressed air already run to the alignment bay, ready to take advantage of the pneumatic single-point lock release without adding new infrastructure
- The shop that compared this against the 12AWFSL Combo and confirmed their vehicle mix genuinely needs the extra 4,000 lbs of lift capacity and 2,000 lbs of jack capacity before paying the higher price
What the PX16A Combo Is NOT Built For
- ❌ Shops that don't perform alignment work — a standard 2-post or 4-post service lift is a better fit and lower cost
- ❌ Shops without an existing compressed-air system — this combo's lock release and jacks both require external shop air
- ❌ Shops whose vehicle mix tops out around 12,000 lbs — the 12AWFSL Combo above covers that at a lower price
What Makes the PX16A Combo Different
16,000 lb Heavy-Duty Lift Capacity
The PX16A steps up from the 12AWFSL's 12,000 lb rating to 16,000 lbs, covering heavier trucks and fleet vehicles that need real capacity margin for alignment work.
8,000 lb RJ8000 Rolling Jacks
Each included jack handles up to 8,000 lbs per corner — double the RJ-6's capacity in the 12AWFSL combo — for shops regularly aligning heavier vehicles.
Built-In Slip Plates & Turntables Included
Alignment turntables and slip plates ship standard, along with turntable covers, so the combo is alignment-ready out of the box.
Open Center Design
An open center between the runways keeps the work area accessible for a technician working underneath or around the vehicle.
Air-Operated Single-Point Lock Release
One release point drops the lift's locks with shop air (external air supply required, not included).
Truck Adapter Sets Included
Each RJ8000 jack ships with its own truck adapter set for taller trucks and SUVs.
- ✅ Heavy-duty alignment shops servicing trucks and fleet vehicles up to 16,000 lbs
- ✅ Shops needing 8,000 lb per-corner jack capacity for heavier vehicles
- ✅ Shops with shop air already in place to run the pneumatic lock release and air-over-hydraulic jacks
