Challenger 15,000 lb 4-Post Alignment Lift — Open Front, Extended
A long-wheelbase crew cab pulls onto a standard 4-post and your tech spends more time worrying about overhang than doing the actual suspension or driveline work — and if the lift also has a closed front column blocking easy access, adjustment points get harder to reach on top of it. Shops that regularly work on longer vehicles need both the room and the access.
The Challenger 4115XFO pairs the extended-length platform (210.5" max wheelbase, 277" overall length — the longest runway of the base 4115 variants) with an open front for unobstructed access to adjustment points. It's the configuration for shops that need to service longer vehicles frequently and don't want a closed column brace in the way while they're doing it.
Who the 4115XFO Is Built For
- A general-repair or fleet shop that regularly services extended-cab trucks, cargo vans, and other long-wheelbase vehicles that overhang a standard-length 4-post.
- A shop where techs are in and out of the lift constantly for suspension, brake, and driveline work, and want open-front access instead of reaching around a closed column brace.
- An operation with a deep bay (14' x 24' minimum, ideally more) that wants the longest available runway in the base 4115 family without paying for the factory alignment kit.
- A shop that doesn't run dedicated 4-wheel alignments as a core service line and would rather skip the turnplate/slip-plate kit that ships standard on the AR4115XAO.
- A fleet bay in a high-humidity or road-salt climate considering the optional galvanized coating to protect the extra runway surface and jack rails from corrosion over years of heavy use.
- A shop upgrading from a standard-length 4-post that kept turning away longer commercial vehicles, now wanting both the extended runway and open-front access in one lift.
What the 4115XFO Is NOT Built For
If your service mix leans heavily on dedicated wheel alignments, the base XFO doesn't include the factory alignment kit — the AR4115XAO gives you the same extended, open-front footprint with turnplates and slip plates included standard. And if structural rigidity from a closed front matters more than open access for your workflow, the 4115XFX shares the same extended length with a closed front.
What Makes the 4115XFO Different
Galvanized Coating Upgrade Available
The XFO's extended 277" runway covers more ground and sees more traffic on a shop's longest, heaviest jobs. The optional galvanized coating protects that runway surface along with jack rails, turn plate pockets, and slip plate pockets from corrosion in coastal, humid, or road-salt regions — worth adding at order time if your shop sees harsh winters or a lot of moisture.
All-New 22" Wide Runways
At 22.375" wide, the XFO's runways give a long-wheelbase truck or van more surface to land on than prior-generation 4115 lifts, which matters more on an extended-length platform where the driver is judging placement over a longer span. Wider runways mean less risk of a tire riding the edge and more stable footing for techs.
Open and Closed Front Configurations
The XFO's open front is the reason to pick this listing over the XFX: no closed column brace blocking access to the front adjustment points, which matters on a lift where techs are climbing in and out constantly for suspension and driveline work on longer vehicles. If structural rigidity matters more for your use case, the 4115XFX shares the same extended length with a closed front.
Improved 4-Wheel Alignment Wheelbase
The 4115 platform's extended wheelbase range on the XFO means the same lift services both a mid-size vehicle and a long-wheelbase crew cab without swapping equipment. For a shop with a mixed fleet or customer base, that flexibility keeps the lift working across more of the day's jobs.
Louvered Approach Ramps
Longer vehicles loading onto the XFO's extended ramps put real demand on ramp traction. Louvered ramps hold their grip better over time than diamond tread or abrasive strip designs, keeping wheel spin down and loading confident even after years of heavy daily use.
- Open-front 4-post alignment lift, extended length applications
- Shops needing 15,000 lbs certified alignment capacity
- Facilities with at least 14' x 24' of bay space
- General repair bays without dedicated alignment volume
- Shops with bay space below 14' x 24'
