Atlas® 16,000 lb Scissor Alignment Lift w/ Turntables #ATEATPK-PX16A-CF-FPD
Not every alignment bay needs a bundled jack package — some shops already have rolling jacks and just need a heavy-duty lift with turntables built in. The Atlas PX16A standalone is built for that: a 16,000 lb scissor alignment lift with super-balanced platform leveling, recessed turntable positions, and extra-long slip plates covering wheelbases from 96" to 184".
The PX16A runs on 220V single-phase power and shop air for its mechanical safety locks (external air supply required, not included). An emergency manual pump provides backup lowering if power or air is interrupted mid-job.
Who the PX16A Is Built For
- The alignment shop that already owns a set of rolling jacks from a previous lift and doesn't want to pay again for the RJ8 pair bundled into the PX16A Combo — this saves roughly $4,500 by buying just the lift
- The shop servicing a wide range of wheelbases in the same bay — from compact cars to full-size trucks — where the extra-long slip plates covering 96" to 184" wheelbases save re-measuring or re-fixturing between jobs
- The shop that's had a job get stuck mid-lift during an air or power interruption before — the built-in emergency manual pump lowers the vehicle safely without waiting on a service call
- The high-volume alignment center running enough 4-wheel jobs per day that the super-balanced platform leveling accuracy translates directly into fewer callbacks for alignment drift
- The shop replacing an older, single-purpose alignment rack that can't handle today's mix of trucks and SUVs at 16,000 lbs — this steps up capacity without a full bay rebuild
What the PX16A Is NOT Built For
- ❌ Shops needing to pick up individual wheels independently for tire/brake work during the same alignment visit — the 12AWFSL/PX16A combos above add rolling jacks for that
- ❌ Shops without an existing compressed-air system — the mechanical safety locks require external shop air
- ❌ Vehicle mixes under 12,000 lbs where the 12AWFSL standalone (if available) or a lighter lift is a better value
What Makes the PX16A Different
16,000 lb Heavy-Duty Capacity
Full commercial-grade capacity for trucks, vans, and heavier vehicles needing precision wheel alignment.
Super-Balanced Platform Leveling
Precise platform leveling keeps the vehicle stable and level throughout the lift cycle — critical for accurate alignment readings.
Recessed Turntable Positions
Built-in recessed positions for alignment turntables keep the platform flush and ready for 4-wheel alignment work.
Air-Operated Mechanical Safety Locks
Mechanical locks engage via shop air (external air supply required) for a positive, verifiable locked state at height.
Emergency Manual Pump
A manual pump allows controlled lowering in the event of a power or air interruption, rather than leaving the vehicle stranded at height.
Extra-Long Slip Plates
Slip plates support 4-wheel alignment across wheelbases from 96" to 184", covering everything from compact cars to full-size trucks on one lift.
