FS-Curtis CC Series

The FS-Curtis CC Series Climate Control Reciprocating Air Compressor is a single-stage unit with an oil-lubricated pump and disc-and-spring valves. The pump includes 100% cast iron cylinders, cylinder heads, connecting rods, and a crankshaft.

In simplex control, the compressor operates between two pressure settings via a pressure switch. At shutoff pressure, the compressor turns off until the pressure reaches the turn-on pressure. This is standard for simplex tank mount units. In duplex, the compressor operates in a lead/lag with an alternator switch to alternate starts between pumps. Both sides of the compressor can run simultaneously if one pump cannot keep up with the air demand. This is ideal for compressor longevity and variable demand applications.
