APlusLifts FAQs

APlusLift vehicle lifts offer professional-grade performance at value-price points for independent shops, residential garages, and small commercial facilities.

APlusLift manufactures 2-post, 4-post, and scissor lifts plus parking and storage lifts. Their lineup covers symmetric and asymmetric 2-post configurations, drive-on 4-post service and storage models, and mid-rise scissor lifts. APlusLift targets independent service shops and serious home garage users who need professional-grade lift capability at a competitive value price point.

APlusLift 2-post lifts are typically available in capacities ranging from 1,500 to 20,000 lb, covering passenger cars, light trucks, and full-size pickup trucks. Four-post models cover 8,000 to 14,000 lbs. Storage and parking lifts are typically 8,000 to 9,000 lbs. Always confirm the gross vehicle weight of your heaviest vehicle against the lift's rated capacity before purchasing.

Selected APlusLift models in this collection carry current ALI Gold Label certification. Look for the ALI badge on individual product listings or filter by ALI certification in the ALI Certified Lifts collection. Certification documentation is provided with every certified model order through Alamo Equipment to support insurance and compliance requirements.

APlusLift is positioned as a value-tier lift brand — lower initial cost than Challenger or Atlas with competitive core specifications on standard configurations. Challenger and Atlas offer more model variety, heavier-duty commercial configurations, and more extensive ALI-certified coverage. For budget-focused single-bay shops or residential installations, APlusLift provides a capable, cost-effective solution.

Most APlusLift 2-post and 4-post service lifts require 208 or 230V single-phase power. Some models are available in three-phase configurations for commercial facilities. Residential storage and parking lifts may operate on 110V. Always confirm the specific model's power specification and ensure your service panel has adequate capacity and a correctly rated circuit before installation.

Yes. Like all commercial vehicle lifts, APlusLift lifts require a minimum concrete thickness and compressive strength — typically 4 inches minimum at 3,000 PSI for 2-post models. Heavy-duty configurations may require greater thickness. Cracked concrete, expansion joints near anchor locations, or concrete with visible deterioration must be evaluated before installation proceeds.
